Greetings Travelers...

I had just came out of a weirdly lousy week and just had the opportunity to write again. I had the chance to take the JLPT N3 test earlier in the month, but I had to take it in my hometown which is rather far from my current domicile. I was rather happy to get a chance to go back and spend some time with my family, except that my trip was cut short due to the one-sided expedited schedule for the departure of my bus ride back to my domicile.

As soon as I get home after a 12 hour night ride on the bus, I had to get to work without a decent sleep. I was mostly too dizzy to do any real work, but what was worse is that my current daily driver laptop's keyboard went bust. I had it checked at a repair store and they told me that a simple keyboard replacement should fix the issue. I got excited and bought the replacement myself since it was a ThinkPad so it was a chance to tinker with simple repairs. Turns out, the issue was not with the keyboard but somewhere down the connection line to the motherboard, which is going to be rather timely to trace and has inherent risk of bricking my machine. So I settled for a cheap external keyboard for now which works fine though it's awkward to use. In between all that I also found out one of my cable extensions broke down as well, which rubbed salt on those wounds.

I am still getting my bearings this week after all that fiasco, and thankfully my S/O is coming to town this weekend so I can pick up my mood by spending some quality time with her. But man oh man I just needed to rant about that whole experience because that felt like I got knocked out by the universe for the week. I hope I can get used to this cheap external keyboard soon because right now it feels so weird. Especially since the left Shift key is cut in half for some weird reason.

I hope your month is going better than mine so far. Until next time, be kind, stay curious, and see you!
